A successful fundraising diner

24 Oct 2004

106 subscribers give a benefit of 2.000 euro.

The first activity of INTACH Belgium, a fundraising diner for the Lost Gardens of Khajuraho, has been a nice success.

On last 23 October, the fundraising diner for the Lost Gardens of Khajuraho has been held at the Steiner School in Wijgmaal (near Leuven). The organisors had hoped for 80 subscribers, but the final number was an unexpected 106. Thanks to the heavenly food (as everyone admitted unanimously), prepared by the family Rajagopal with assistance of Nimi Joseph, and the faultless organisation of a team of volunteers, this first event of INTACH Belgium can be called a nice success with a benefit of 2.000 euro. Therefore : will be continued !!
