Pateriya ka Bagh is the first garden to be restored
During Eastern weekend the contract has been signed between Shobita Punja (INTACH) and Dr. Pateriya.
After the signing of the MoU, a puja or prayer ceremony, has been held in the garden. Architect Ameet Babbar from INTACH is busy in putting together the team, in order to have a preparative archaeological campaign before the arrival of the monsoon. It's also possible to integrate the Pateriya ka Bagh in the larger INTACH Project for the sustainable development of the Khajuraho Region: in the coming weeks a part of the garden will be organised as a nursery for native trees. These trees are destined for the streets of Khajuraho.
